Thomas Sanford, 40, is a resilient individual whose life took a dramatic turn at 39 when he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, requiring a craniotomy to remove blood from the left side of his brain. This left him paralyzed on his dominant right side. Undeterred, Tom dedicates hours each week to intensive therapy, relearning to walk and working to regain function in his right arm and hand. Embracing his journey with determination, he has found solace and expression in painting, turning it into a cherished hobby that showcases his creativity and perseverance.
